My first Typewriter!

This was a little bit ago, now, but I thought it might be good to get started with my first manual Typewriter.

I found it on Facebook Marketplace, listed as an Olympia SM-9 for 150. I was excited to start my collection and wanted nothing more than to just have a machine in my hands. But I managed to negotiate the price down to 130.

I went to the seller's house and tested to make sure it worked. We chatted for a short minute about the Typewriter, and I gave her money, and left with the machine.

Well, it turns out, the Machine was actually an Olympia SM-8. Slight difference, but still great! and still my favorite machine.

Unfortunately, when I was trying to clean it, I took the typing scale off from the back to make room to reach inside, and I lost one of the brackets that holds it in place. :/
